Logistic Planning Engineering

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

 

 Plan, prioritize, design, and execute Logistic planning for core process of manufacturing such as 
assembly, fabrication, machining, packaging, storage, and painting. 
2. Must understand the caterpillar Logistic planning process and guidelines while performing the 
design. 
3. Define required layout requirements prior to design start, cascade requirements to cross 
functional team to ensure the expectations are met. 
4. Drafting tasks within defined scope, delivering layouts and optimize designs and provide options 
to internal customers. 
5. Speed / Quality of Drafting should be up to industry standards. 
6. Able to spend considerable amount of time in shop floor to capture the current state data and 
update the Logistic with location and flow information. 
7. Analyze the material flow and ensure the smooth and rapid movement of material, from the 
stage-to-stage process. 
8. Ability to validate flow and capability to simulate the circulation of people and its interaction 
with material to facilitate the safe movement path. 
9. Validate the Logistic using flow and manufacturing techniques.
