About the role

Company Description

PHM is the leading health media agency in the US. We are designed for—and dedicated to—delivering solutions that connect people with meaningful health and wellness solutions every day. Guided by our genuine passion for health and wellness, our work across the entire media ecosystem helps patients navigate the most important moments of their healthcare journeys.

While we have grown to be the No. 1 agency in our industry, at heart we’re still a startup. It’s that energy and spirit of innovation that allows us to create bold and meaningful “health media firsts” for our clients, and to do it all with #phmlove.

Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence, Data Operations will clean, classify, and QA many media data sources at the disposal of the BI team to integrate all of them in multiple BI platforms while documenting these integrations and assisting the client on media data operation questions on how to query, visualize and automate further processes.

You will gather media data requirements for the development and support of data products with internal and external clients. We ask that you have dual knowledge of both data engineering and a knowledge of media data as you will help advance our current warehouse solutions (built on the Datorama and Snowflake technology stacks), classifying real-time data for our clients and ensuring that the data has flowed through our warehouse solutions correctly for downstream user ingestion. This involves a data quality assessment and correction process that you will manage.

Besides fulfilling any data requests made by the external client, data must also align with internal BI partners to make sure the data is available and visualized based on the measurement strategy outlined. Therefore, we ask that you understand the media buy process from start to finish. You will report to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and maintaining professional relationships with the members of your client team(s)

• Work with internal and external partners to deliver data operations that satisfy all client data needs and address challenges and opportunities with clearly defined goals and definitions of data integration/reporting success.

• Manage and work on both internal and external client workstreams that culminate in the delivery of data. This includes ensuring the data flows are correct and QA’ing the data before it is ingested.

• Help maintain the many internal data sources (including an expertise in Datorama) and (where applicable) third-party vendors/data streams that comprise our custom measurement platform while keeping work streams on task within the established timelines and delivery dates.

• As the team owns a large amount of data and its aggregation/classification, an important responsibility will be the overseeing and implementation of data integrity processes. This will include managing the existing data quality processes while requiring the identification of new approaches to how we ensure our data is correct.

• Managing multiple client engagements/projects concurrently while addressing varied needs of a diverse client pool

• Demonstrated ability to quickly pick-up high-level concepts and synthesize learning to apply BI thought process and open opportunities to integrate with other BI engagements and areas of the organization
