9th/10th Grade Algebra/Geometry Teacher

Compensation (Daily)

• 4-year/Masters/Specialist Degree - $170.00
• Doctorate Degree - $190.00
• Professional Certification (any state) - $200.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow established curriculum, and deliver the provided lesson plans.
• Establish professional relationships with students and parents.
• Instruct students in the basic skills needed for daily living and independent living.
• Provide feedback to parents on their children's performance.
• Collaborate with other teachers and support the school in its efforts to improve student outcomes.
• Maintain a clean classroom and comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree (required)
• Valid teaching certificate or license (preferred)
• SPED experience
• Knowledge of the Ohio Department of Education model curriculum and Ohio’s New Learning Standards
• Previous experience working with young students in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and other staff members
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
