About this Role

The Communications Co-op will support employee-facing corporate communications activities. Reporting to our Communications Strategist, this role is part of Textron Systems’ Marketing & Communications team.

As a Communications Co-op, you’ll play a key role in helping communicate key projects and strategies to employee audiences across multiple channels. The team’s work is critical to ensuring that employees are aligned across our sites and business lines to support our customers. 

 Candidates should be detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to think strategically, adapt quickly and work well with teams and stakeholders across the business. Superior writing and proofreading skills, written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical abilities, are essential.

 Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Broadly support internal communications across the Textron Systems segment
• Serve as employee communications point of contact for internal stakeholder teams as assigned
• Deliver high-impact, innovative communications, partnering with cross-functional team members in a coordinated approach while always ensuring consistency of messaging
• Support the planning and rollout of campaign messaging efforts across channels
• Manage employee communications channels including intranet, newsletters and digital signage
• Work across the Strategic Communications & Creative group to develop materials that advance key objectives and translate project concepts into easy-to-understand graphs, charts & other visuals
• Support achievement and reporting of corporate and team key performance indicators
• Actively contribute to other projects or special programs and support cross-funct
