As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Cisco Email and Web Security Certified Engineer to join our dynamic team.

 

Position Overview: As an Experienced Cisco Email and Web Security Certified Engineer at Eviden Digital Security Netherlands, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA), Cisco Secure Web Appliance (WSA), Cisco Secure Endpoint (AMP), Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Firewall solutions for our clients. Your expertise in these Cisco security products will be essential in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' email and web communications, as well as overall network security.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Deployment: Plan, design, and deploy Cisco ESA, WSA, and other Cisco security solutions tailored to clients' needs, considering their email and web security requirements.
• Configuration and Optimization: Configure, optimize, and fine-tune Cisco ESA, WSA, and related appliances to maximize security and performance.
• Security Policy Management: Develop and manage security policies and rulesets for email, web, and network traffic to protect against threats, including spam, malware, and phishing attacks.
• Incident Response: Monitor and respond to email, web, and network security incidents, including analyzing logs, investigating threats, and implementing remediation measures.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Cisco ESA, WSA, AMP, Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Firewall appliances, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
• Patch Management: Stay up-to-date with Cisco product software updates and security patches, applying them promptly to maintain system security.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures related to Cisco ESA, WSA, and other security product implementations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to clients and internal staff on email, web, and network security best practices.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Cisco Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification in Email, Web, and Network Security, with specialization in products such as Cisco ESA, WSA, AMP, Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Firewall.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cisco ESA, WSA, AMP, Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Firewall solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Cisco ESA, WSA, AMP, Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Firewall appliances, including configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
• Network Security: Strong understanding of email, web, and network security best practices, including anti-spam, anti-malware, and anti-phishing measures.
• Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools to streamline tasks and processes.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze logs and network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Additional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) would be a plus.
