Job Overview
The Director of General Services will plan, direct, and manage all facilities, construction, and security functions for the Hospital, as well as other assigned functional areas. To participate in Hospital-wide general and strategic planning as a member of the Senior Management team.
This position is full-time, exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hour. Pay is determined based on relevant experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
- Directs, manages and supervises the work of professional, technical, hospital support, and clerical staff in Engineering, Facilities, Grounds, Environmental and Linen Services, Nutritional Services, Reception and Security. May manage hospital Supply Chain functions.
- Exercises responsibility for the administration of a variety of departments whose scope and impact are Hospital-wide.
- Requires a broad base of professional and administrative expertise as well as highly developed management, communication, and organizational skills
Qualifications
Required:
- Five years progressive management experience in a health care setting
- Bachelor Degree in a related field
- Knowledge of leadership and management methods and practices
- Knowledge of pertinent federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines related to assigned areas or responsibility. Demonstrated experience with HCAI projects.
- Vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
