About the Position:

Juniper Support Insights is a cloud-based data-driven solution powered by analytics, AI, & machine learning that provides customer insights and actionable intelligence based on customer's devices and Juniper support data. The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate the technical and organizational ability to provide technical leadership in a fast-paced environment that demands secure products with high value, ease of use, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical leadership to development teams by setting a transparent example.
• Drives cloud fundamentals such as design, reliability engineering, and security.
• Design, develop, maintain, and document system and associated software architectures.
• Contributes significantly to new methodologies, defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters.
• Aligns professional concepts with functional/company objectives to resolve complex issues through a balance of innovation and risk mitigation that is clearly articulated.
• Work closely with other teams on new services or improvements to existing services.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• M.S. in EE/CS/IS/Physics/related fields or referenceable equivalent experience with demonstrable command of all required knowledge domains. 
• Extensive experience in customer delivered automation solutions for scaled networking organizations (SP, Cloud, etc …).
• Expert level knowledge in cloud native software engineering practices and paradigms.
• Expert in at least two modern programming languages (Node.js, Python, C++, etc.).
• Must have significant hands-on experience with technologies such as containers, virtual machines, and distributed systems (Global Scale).
• Demonstrated experience with automated operational workflows for scaled networks.
• Competent with the tools and processes of a product development lifecycle.
• Exposure to operating systems, advanced data structures, and networking protocols.
• Expert communication skills and demonstrated technical thought leadership. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design and implementation of solutions which embody ‘dynamic composition across disaggregated infrastructure’ with functional abstractions.
• Experience in design and implementation of scaled stateless distributed solutions.
• Extensive Experience with AWS - Lambda, CloudWatch, Serverless Deployments, IIOT.
• Direct experience with advanced data structures including composed hashing, probabilistic, block chain, and CRDTs.
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation/ Terraform)
• Proficiency in statistical/probabilistic methods and modeling across scaled data sets.

Minimum Salary: $143,360.00

Maximum Salary:$206,080.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $143,360.00 and $206,080.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
