The Boeing Maintenance Team is looking for a Maintenance Training Data Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA. Our team is seeking a data specialist with an interest in seeking out correlations and discovering causal relationships between maintainer behaviors and the resulting impact on commercial airplane operational data. You will have a sound understanding of aircraft maintenance operations and maintainer behaviors, and will bring a passion for data-driven analysis and discovery. In this role, you will work with, and be supported by, a highly talented team of aviation training specialists with a wide and varied background. Also in this role, you have a direct impact on future commercial airplane maintenance training programs and be driven by a desire to demonstrate and improve efficacy of learning solutions

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 3 days each week at the Seattle, WA location.
Travel:
Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer
Position Responsibilities:
Leads identifying customer technical training needs and requirements and develops training proposals.
Leads evaluating and determining training objectives, content, design, and technologies.
Uses specialized software technology to research, develop and modify complex media and materials.
Prepares lesson plans and instructs participants.
Researches, develops, delivers, and evaluates effectiveness of technical training.
Develops and provides recommendations on training standards and specifications.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
5+ years’ experience with Aviation industry maintenance
2+ years’ minimum experience with Data discovery and analysis within a highly technical, regulated field
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in aviation or education
Experience with InCopy or InDesign
Experience writing and developing online training modules
Shift:
This position is for the first shift.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Typical Experience/Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
Summary pay range: 102,850 – 139,150.
