About the role

The Missouri Southern State University Psychology Department is seeking candidates for a 10-/12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position on its Joplin, Missouri campus. A Ph.D. in Psychology or related field is required; however, candidates who are ABD will be considered with a commitment to complete a Ph.D. Multiple areas of specialization (e.g., Developmental, Clinical, ABA) that support our Applied Behavior Analysis center and program will be considered. Candidates should have BCBA certification and clinical experience. The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach General Psychology, research-specific courses (e.g., Experimental Design), and ABA courses. Other responsibilities include student advising and recruitment, and active participation in service and scholarship activities including supporting an ABA clinic.
