Your day-to-day work will include:
Aeyon is seeking an experienced government Contracts Manager to serve as Aeyon’s Deputy Director of Contracts, supporting the Director of Contracts with the continued growth and maturity of Aeyon’s Contracts department, the administration of its government contracts and subcontracts, and the supervision, mentoring, and training of its contracts personnel.
Assigned to Aeyon’s Vienna VA headquarters, the Contracts Manager will have demonstrated private sector experience managing contract activities and supervising personnel in a geographically dispersed environment, accompanied by the ability to manage communications, integrate activities, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also provide full life cycle strategic planning and contracts administration leadership to support our clients in the DoD, NASA, FAA, and other Federal agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to and in support of the Aeyon Director of Contracts
- Provide senior leadership to the Aeyon Contracts department in its efforts to
- o Review Requests for Proposals and assist in Pre-award activities
- o Lead business/price proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration activities from the proposal through closeout.
- o Prepare non-disclosure agreements, proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, and consultant agreements.
- o Initiate, negotiate, and administer contracts and subcontracts
- Process contractual documentation and reports, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and perform maintenance of historical information.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- o Provide leadership and solutions to contracting or programmatic issues
- o Contribute to contracting strategies and initiatives
- o Review Contractual Documents for compliance and risk in accordance with the FAR, DFAR, and Government Supplemental Regulations
- o Establish and support an internal process review program to ensure contract activities comply with established standards
- Integrate communications and the contract activities of dispersed contract units.
- Respond to internal and external contractual issues, audits, and compliance requirements.

Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Ten (10) or more years of private-sector administration and management experience in Government Contracting
- Thorough knowledge of FAR and DFARS with experience in a CPSR environment
- Experience with GSA Schedules, MA IDIQs, and GWACs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, make informed decisions, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work extended hours and limited travel as required.
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Preferred: Master’s degree or NCMA Certification
