JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Human Resources is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and detail-oriented individual to support the Intercollegiate Athletics Department (ICA) in planning, implementing, and sustaining a wide range of human resources activities and functions. Job duties and functions include recruitment, onboarding, and retention of all unit employees (full-time and part-time staff, tech services, coaches, etc.),; employment contract development and tracking; employee and labor relations; organizational development; talent management; total rewards and compensation; position management; diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and compliance monitoring for ICA. The position will support all aspects of ICA Human Resources, including but not limited to policy and procedure development and interpretation; employee performance; data input, analysis, and maintenance, standard and custom reporting, support of Workday and other human resources related data as needed; provide unit representation on various committees; and work with the Human Resources staff to implement new and/or continuing legal requirements or initiatives.
