About the role
Purpose of Position
The Scheduling Manager provides strong leadership to the scheduling teams through regular check-ins, team meetings, and timely feedback. This role focuses on developing, training, and coaching employees to perform their duties efficiently and effectively, while fostering a respectful, trusting, and accountable environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Creates and achieves departmental goals by coaching, developing and mentoring employees.
- Manages employee performance, behavior, and development to mitigate foreseeable risks.
- Identifies and nurtures high-performing individuals for succession planning.
- Coordinates with Operational Capacity, Maintenance, and Executive Jet Management teams to ensure the correct number of assets (crews and aircraft) are available to meet demand.
- Manages, coordinates, and plans non-standard events with the Operations team which may include traveling for offsite support when necessary.
- Provides input and feedback to the Operations and Solutions Managers on the development, testing, and training of all technology initiatives that directly impact the Scheduling Team.
