As a Manager of Technical Development, you will lead P&SS portfolio development across eight global business segments and manage the global development budget. This role involves prioritizing and steering the development of a complex portfolio, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, rodenticides, termiticides, digital monitoring products, and biological controls.You will oversee the technical development team, ensuring safety while promoting professional growth. Your responsibilities include guiding the team to address technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Success requires a strong understanding of the eight business segments: Home & Garden, Turf, Ornamentals, ProVM, Pastures, Professional Pest Management, Public Health, and Nitrogen Management.

• Leading the coaching and professional development of the P&SS Global Development and Formulation team.
• Stewarding the innovation process and steering the development program within budget.
• Participating as an active member of the P&SS Global Leadership Team and related sub-teams.
• Reviewing and supporting new technologies and technical approaches for feasibility and commercial fit.
• Collaborating with other global R&D divisions (fungicide, insecticides, and herbicides) on experimental compound development to evaluate relevancy.

• Possess a PhD in Entomology or a related Biological Science.
• Bring 12+ years of experience in developing innovation projects from start to commercialization.
• Hold an understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder project management.
• Exhibit experience coaching and leading hybrid teams to high performance.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in non-crop agricultural sciences (e.g., pest management, horticulture).
• Communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
• Show the aptitude for prioritizing innovation pipelines based on commercial viability.
