Allied is currently looking for an individual to Receive and handle incoming material and packages delivered through motor freight, UPS, and other carriers. Delivers mail, and items shipped through the inter-plant shipping system. Maintains the inter-plant shipping system between buildings. Delivers incoming tooling to the Q.A. associates for inspection. Ships out items on motor freight. Maintain all areas of the tool crib. If available, loading and unloading company owned trucks. Visual inspection of incoming items. This position will require inspecting of material using basic inspection equipment. This position will also be cross trained with the carousel.

Requirements

  • Receive products into the plant, including raw and in-process materials.
  • Match incoming orders to purchase orders.
  • Distribute products and mail to designated areas.
  • Ensure proper distribution of paperwork.
  • Load and unloads trucks / Forklift.
  • Issue and return tools.
  • Keep accurate inventory records.
  • Inspect tools and return to proper areas.
  • Maintain all Satellite Cribs
  • Requisition items from Allied Inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness in Tool Crib area.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Observe and report all areas that need addressed.
  • Maintain a high-quality level and efficiency.
  • Correct reporting of job transactions.
  • Keep inventory of all packaging materials.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail between facilities.
  • Follow instructions and procedures in a cooperative manner.
  • Proper use and care of calipers.
  • Read and understand blueprints.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Lift Truck Certification

Experience:

  • Computer experience/data entry preferred
  • AMEC experience of 2-3 years, preferred

Skills:

  • Detail oriented, good organizational and planning skills.
  • Computer/data entry experience preferred.
  • Must be able to differentiate material types, item numbers, tooling numbers.
