Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a skilled SETA Support to advise and assist an innovative program office. The ideal candidate will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistant (SETA) to the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to provide direct support and serve as a liaison between staff and Program Managers in the DoD. Work Location: On-site Arlington, VA
Required Experience:
• Familiarity with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
• Military experience includes special operations can be prior Army, Air Force, Marine or Navy
• Experience with public and costumer engagement, excellent oral/written communication skills
• Strong Organizational skills and ability to multi-task and quick turn-around requests and proficiency with modern PC systems and tools
• 10+ years of Special Operations Force service with operational experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Secret Security Clearance and able to obtain TS/SCI
Desired Experience:
• Advanced Degree in a STEM field
• Experience as a staff officer within Headquarters DoD, Military Service or Combatant Command
• Prior knowledge of DARPA and DoD policies and procedures
• Ability to translate warfighter needs, articulate capability gaps and discuss current and projected Acquisition Programs within Special Operations organizations
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
