Your role at Baxter

The Specialist, Customer & Sales, drive sales through effective communication and timely processing of sales proposals and orders. Educate customers and sales representatives of current product offerings, contract pricing, and current promotions that are being offered. Become the voice of Baxter with positive and professional communication skills!
 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work in a team environment that handles customer and sales manager inquiries. Be available to support a flexible work schedule as business instructs.

• Educate customer and sales representative on product portfolio, product features and additional accessories and services that are available. Maintain a knowledge base of all Baxter products, services, and business ventures in order to answer inquiries or direct call to appropriate party.

• Enter proposals and purchase orders under $10,000 that are called or faxed in. Ensure appropriate pricing approval is given based on product line discount matrix. Audit proposal pricing to ensure accurate pricing is being calculated through information system.

• Partner with production planning and distribution on product availability and delivery expectations to meet customers expected delivery.

• Handle all email inquiries directed to the Hill-Baxter's website or Customer Service in-box.

• Review all contracts and purchase orders as specified in Contract Review QS05468 guidelines and standards for Revenue Recognition and Sarbanes Oxley standards.

• Enforce to and coordinate company policies and procedures, including Discount Approval and Credit Return Matrix’s.

• Achieve department service level goals through timely and courteous phone skills.

• You collaborate as a teammate and exhibit a positive demeanor.
   

What You'll Bring:

• High School Graduate or equivalent experience required (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred)

• Customer Service Experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail

• Proven customer service skills with the ability to upsell

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• JDE experience is a plus

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $48,000.00 to $66,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
