Head of Operations (m|f|x)

We are looking for a Head of Operations (m/f/x) for our Analytics & Intelligence product area who is passionate about leading and developing high performing teams. Through enabling others & driving processes, this position shapes the landscape of data; from tracking instrumentation to analytics and insights generation via data science and machine learning. As a leader, you enable people and teams to work at their best.

Together with the Head of Marketing Data you empower the development teams to maximize their success and to deliver a continuous flow of value to internal customers and end users.

The position is available full time or part-time.

About your new role

• You develop and drive a data & analytics strategy for the tech organization, in collaboration with leaders in data platform, product development and marketing tech.
• You are a manager of leaders, and lead a unit of 40+ FTE comprised of 8 teams in partnership with the Head of Marketing Data.
• You inspire an agile and high performing working environment, aligning strategy and workstreams across the company in data analysis, business intelligence and data science, to deliver an always up-to-date strategic roadmap.
• You are responsible for leveraging technical experts to drive technical developments in your product area and for the maintaining of best practices and standards in line with idealos 'guiding principles'.
• You manage the budget and are responsible for the costs that your unit generates.
• You are energized by cross-functional collaboration and are skilled at conflict resolution & change management practices.
• You collaborate and calibrate regularly with your peers in the Product & Technology arm of idealo.

Preferred Qualifications

• You have experience in a KPI-driven environment and are familiar with concepts of Service Levels, including delivery & CSAT or NPS and can extract insights from data.
• You are knowledgeable about Product Management, product analytics, data science, internal data products, or closely related area concepts and willing to continuously learn.
• You have strong business sense and ability to create, communicate, and achieve a vision.
• You have experience with six sigma, coaching, agile methodologies, or product management.
