Finance BP - Real Estate Controller EMEAJob Description
As Finance Business Partner for Real Estate EMEA you are responsible for supporting the EMEA Real Estate manager and the Global Finance BP for Real Estate with strategic direction setting by means of sound financial analysis (cost modelling, risk assessment, scenario analysis) of strategic initiatives, (transformation) programs and projects.
This role is open for 2 possible locations - Eindhoven or Amsterdam.
Your role:
- Pro-actively and efficiently driving the planning and forecasting processes for Real Estate EMEA (Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts and Latest Views), which includes alignment of domains and markets regarding targets setting.
- Providing an integral view on Real Estate spend in EMEA and managing it in line with Annual Operating Plan.
- Realization of Real Estate EMEA productivity targets and realization and execution of plans according to budget available, problem solving and aligning on corrective actions in case of deviations together with EMEA Real Estate MT.
- Manage OPEX and Capex for RE EMEA in line with AOP.
- Create, review and approve investment proposals for Real Estate EMEA in the @investor tool.
- Manage the complexity of IFRS16 lease accounting in EMEA, incl. impairment testing.
- Maintain and optimize the network of local contacts for Enabling Functions in the Markets.
- Monitor and control functional processes and their execution for ICS/SOX compliance.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships across the organization to understand the business and the needs of partners and internal customers.
You're the right fit if:
- Master’s degree in accounting/ Finance/ Economics.
- You have 1-5 years of work experience as Finance Business Partner or in FP&A role.
- Strong stakeholder management, with an ability to recognize organizational and business differences and work to effect alignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, feeling comfortable while interacting with executive-level management, and being able to present complex analysis with clarity
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and cope with tight deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills and thinking strategically, as well as tactically.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
