This job manufactures and processes system-wide identification badges with varying functions, including access, timekeeping and debit. Conducts processes including manufacture, functionality processing, distribution, and multi-database management. Operates ID badge software, printer and supply management, and coordinators with other facility departments to effectively produce ID badges in accordance with established guidelines.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required - Valid driver’s license in the state of practice
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
Excellent organization and time management skills required to effectively perform several tasks simultaneously.
Self-directed with the ability to work independently, set priorities and maintain complete confidentiality.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with confidential information and operating standard office equipment, including a digital camera.
Reliable transportation required to travel between facilities.
Ability to work flexible schedule such as nights, weekends, extended shifts, etc. may be required.
Job Duties
Coordinates, provisions and deprovisions access for current and new employees, vendors, non-employed labor and medical students.
Manufactures and processes ID/Access cards and parking assignments according to established guidelines and including production, functionality processing, and distribution.
Performs database management for ID/Access cards and files management records.
Continuously provides effective customer service assistance to employees and departments ensuring timely production and distribution of ID/Access cards.
Performs programming of ID/Access cards per established guidelines for functionality system-wide needs.
Performs administrative duties which include maintaining the access system database and organizing and maintaining appropriate access levels.
Other related duties as required.
