Senior Lab Assistant | St. Cloud Hospital

Performs tasks that are necessary to support pre-testing and post-testing functions within CentraCare Health Laboratories. Assists the Lab Support Services Manager with planning, coordinating, organizing, and performing the workload. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Patients of all ages served.

Schedule:

• 72 hours every two weeks
• Nights | 9pm-7:30am | 7 on/ 7 off rotation 

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.20 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $20.20 - $30.30 per hour

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED  
• 1 years Minimum experience within CCLS. Prior experience in a similar role may be taken into consideration.
• One of the following:
  • Phlebotomy Technician Certification  
  • Certified Laboratory Assistant Certification 
  • Certified Medical Assistant Certification 
• Certification from or in the process of pursing a degree from an accredited laboratory medicine-related program (Phlebotomy, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Laboratory Assistant, etc.). Certification must be verified within six weeks of taking the exam.
