Trade & Working Capital – Payments- Core Trade Product Executive Director

As a Core Trade Product Director within Trade & Working Capital (T&WC), you will leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation. You will inspire cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs, develop industry differentiators, and enhance the value proposition of Core Trade products for our customers.

T&WC is a division of J.P. Morgan Payments, connecting counterparties with market-leading solutions such as Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Contract Monetization, Working Capital Lending, Export Agency Finance, and Traditional Trade solutions. Core Trade, a part of T&WC, includes Trade Loans, Commercial & Standby Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Corporate Draft & Bill of Exchange Discounting, Documentary Collections, and other Core Product offerings for corporations and financial institutions.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives to develop a consistent and efficient front-to-back operating model that seamlessly delivers Core Trade products and services to our expanding global customer base.
• Help define product strategy to achieve enhanced capabilities, reduce risk, improve operating efficiency in line with the global business strategy.
• Work closely with client coverage groups, trade sales, and regional product managers to provide quality solutions to our clients.
• Anticipate internal and external factors impacting business and implement plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Conduct new product development, including implementing product extensions for current offerings in light of evolving market trends and client requirements; manage Fintech partnerships for Core Trade.
• Provide internal and external product advocacy through active participation at industry forums, conferences, working groups, and media communications.
• Define and manage product roadmap, prioritization of tech initiatives and business requirements, including conceptual and detailed design for new initiatives, in partnership with Tech and Operations.
• Conduct internal training sessions for multiple disciplines.
• Function as a trusted advisor and thought leader on key digital opportunities related to product features and continuous process enhancements.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Trade & Working Capital, Lending products or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
• Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
• Experience in driving business transformation and change initiatives within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
• Exceptional organization, communication and management skills

• Recognized thought leader within a related field
• Experience with emerging technologies in trade finance
• Strong network within the trade finance industry and active participation in industry forums and conferences
