We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of quality and service, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our Charlotte office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of association facilities and equipment. Competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits package offered.
Key Responsibilities, will include but not be limited to:
- Perform minor routine maintenance on carpentry, equipment and facilities, as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Communicate clearly with management regarding findings, safety concerns and repair needs.
- Observe all State, Federal and company safety standards/precautions while performing task in order to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Experience with HOAs, Multifamily or Property Maintenance.
- 2-4 years’ general experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Carpentry skills.
- Inspection and punch list experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel in own vehicle
- Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
