The Role:

Work consultatively and collaboratively with key stakeholders including Hospitals North Executive, hospital management and staff, security personnel legal and quality services and possibly external agencies such as Ambulance Tasmania and Tasmania Police, to co-coordinate and deliver the agreed recommendations on Safety and Security for Hospitals North from the Department of Health Safety and Security Working Group.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join our team until 15 August 2025.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013.

Allowance 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

  • Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
