In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 200+ colleagues and is growing.
You will be developing a leading communication and collaboration platform that serves large public safety control rooms, aiming for a continuously growing set of functionalities to support the needs requested by our police, ambulance and fire brigade customers.Our Scrum teams are a mix between developers and automation testers who ensure end-to-end commitment over the sprint backlog – stories are implemented and tested in an automated way in the same sprint. Aside from the “scrum of scrums”, the teams collaborate and align through frequent design and refactoring meetings, that target both the source code and automation tests.Continuous learning and development is one of our cultural values.

Key Tasks
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders at different levels inside and outside the company
- Being part of a mature SCRUM team, always looking to apply the best practices from the industry
- Implementing back-end solutions for specific customer requirements on a common product platform (microservices, event driven architecture, Domain Driven Design)
- Working closely with developers and test automation engineers in order to ensure the best quality of the delivery
- Applying best practices and design
- Practicing Test Driven Design, applying clean code principles, following strict code quality standards.
- Participating in design, code review and refactoring sessions
- Analysing, assessing the impact and fixing various functional and non-functional issues
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience
- Experience with Java and Java 17 specific features
- Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with microservices and event driven architecture is an advantage
- Good English knowledge, both written and verbally
- Available for travelling, if necessary
- VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of IT automation tools (Ansible) is an advantage
- Domain knowledge in public safety application or operation (police, fire, ambulance) is an advantage
