Job Purpose:
To support the overall operations of the facility by performing routine maintenance, basic repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a safe, functional and efficient work environment.

- Perform all work with adherence to company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Notifies others of potential safety issues.
- Carry out daily, weekly, & monthly facilities maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Perform basic mechanical functions, preventive maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- Perform minor repair projects, i.e. drywall, paint, caulking, door handles, light plumbing, HVAC filter change, commercial carpet tiles and VCT repair, ceiling tile and grid. etc.
- Assist with major repair projects, i.e. office rearrangement, machine moves, etc.
- Assist with new equipment installation, i.e. assist vendor setup, uncrating, anchoring equipment, general labor, etc.
- Perform office setup and modification, i.e. move and assemble desks, cubicles, filing cabinets, hand white boards, etc.
- Seasonal outdoor activities, i.e. building inspections, painting, pressure washing, shoveling snow, gutter cleaning, etc.
- Manufacturing facility cleaning, i.e. run floor cleaning equipment, mopping, leak clean up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory responsibility: No
Qualifications
Position Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow set schedules unsupervised.
- Ability to work in a cross functional team.
- Ability to work off a eight foot ladder
- Basic computer skills.
- Good knowledge of industrial safe work practices.
- Safe fork lift operation experience a plus but not necessary.
- Painting skills a plus but not necessary.
- Willingness to complete OSHA 30 certification.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Have a valid driver license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
Indoor production environment, work outside may be required, adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures. Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts. Ability to work 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations required, overtime dependent on business need.
Physical requirements:

- Frequent repetitive hand movements, using hand tools – pliers, sanders, scissors, etc.
- Frequently remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
- Frequently move about the facility indoors as well as outdoors to make repairs, etc.
- Constantly positions self to repair/build equipment and/or facility
- Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to service equipment and/or complete a building repair
- Must be able to detect equipment issues and assess for repairs
- Regularly move tools and equipment up to >25 lbs.
