Team Lead - Production, 2nd Shift

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set an example for quality and good housekeeping practices in the department and will always be available to provide assistance to staff.
• Use expertise to increase efficiency and productivity of operators and equipment and ensure consistent quality standards/
• Maintain outgoing shipments per business needs.
• Coordinate routine and repair maintenance on all conveyor flow lane and shipping staging equipment.
• Monitor outbound orders and adjust labor accordingly.
• Leader for area safety, training, and continuous improvement.
• Responsible for maintaining area KPI's and daily charts per company standards.
• Assisting with Branded, Parcel and Bulk functions.
• Direct leadership responsibilities including:
  • Providing training and continuous development
  • Report underperforming employees to Group Lead
• With the general knowledge of coworker(s) responsibilities and processes, this role must also effectively step in as a backup or use a team approach to complete tasks during coworker(s) absence.
• In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her superior that are essentially related to his/her duties.

Your Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership experience in a production environment is a plus.
• Must have ability to lead people and resolve conflicts while multi-tasking and completing required work according to customer demand.
• Strong warehouse and distribution experience.
• Must conduct oneself in a professional manner.
• Must have excellent computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to pay significant attention to detail, be self-motivated, function as a team member in a group environment and communicate with all levels of the department and organization.
• Must have the ability to lift, bend, twist and move up to 35 pounds repetitively.
