ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a skilled and experienced virtual infrastructure administrator to join our Technical Enablement department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing virtual machines, virtual labs, virtual networks, and virtual classrooms. This role requires close collaboration with instructional designers, technical writers, and product managers to understand and fulfill specifications for required infrastructure. The engineer will work as part of a talented global team.

 

Requirements

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain virtual machines, virtual labs, virtual networks, and virtual classrooms to support training and documentation initiatives
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, technical writers, and product managers to gather requirements and ensure that infrastructure meets the specified needs
  • Configure and manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Access Governance (DAG), and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  • Provide Linux administration support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems
  • Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of virtual infrastructure
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues related to virtual environments, identifying and implementing solutions to optimize performance and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in virtualization and server administration
  • Provide support and knowledge to the Technical Enablement department as they provide documentation and training to Netwrix Customers, Partners, and Employees

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in writing and speaking English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in creating and managing virtual machines, virtual labs, and virtual networks
  • Strong background in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Database Availability Groups (DAG), and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  • Proficiency in Linux administration, including shell scripting, package management, and system monitoring
  • Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver infrastructure solutions
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Team player and self-motivated quick learner, ready to explore new technologies and solutions

Application Skills

  • Certification in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Familiarity with network virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ACI)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
