Summer Intern

Gain valuable office experience in our corporate office, located on the Naperville/Aurora border! Flexible hours to work around your school/college schedule!  The chosen individual will work approximately 5-10 hours per week, at our office located at 3600 Thayer Court, Suite 100, Aurora Illinois. Scheduled days and work hours can be set up by mutual agreement as needed with our office management team. Our office is open Monday- Friday 8am to 4:30 pm. Must live near the Aurora/Naperville area. Pay in the $13 range depending on experience.

Military Deli & Bakery Services is the largest provider of Deli/Bakery departments to the US Military, with 103 commissary locations across the U.S. Our customers are all military members and their families. We are a progressive, growing company with a friendly work atmosphere. This position is ideal for a current student to gain experience working in an office environment and learn skills they can use in their future career.

Position Description:

The intern will assist with our monthly mailings to all bases, and special projects as needed. Tasks may include setting up boxes, tagging items, laminating, making copies and labeling. Also putting supplies away and updating the supply order spreadsheet in Excel. The chosen individual should like to work primarily on their feet and feel comfortable occasionally lifting boxes weighing up to 20 pounds. Self-starters with computer and/or analytical skills will handle special projects and reports.

This is a paid internship.
