Job Summary

Performs a variety of duties as assigned to support and facilitate the maintenance of accurate and efficient business operations for Equipped For Life . Provides direct customer service, accounts support, and/or clerical/administrative support for the department as assigned.

Accountabilities

• Customer Service - Handles incoming calls to the  department. Provides information to callers/visitors pertaining to the services of the department. Greets internal/external callers/visitors in a prompt, pleasant and professional manner. - 20%
• Patient Registration - Registers patients in an accurate and timely manner. Verifies payer source. - 20%
• Ensure all accounts have been billed timely, reports are worked and unpaid claims are followed up on. - 20%
• Reports timely key statistics to management for compliance, sales, revenue, cash and patient flow. - 20%
• Performs insurance pre-authorization process, enters, validates, and reconciles visit activity and supplies to ensure accurate billing. - 10%
• Post payments  every day and reconcile deposits. - 10%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, OR post high school diploma.
• 3 years of Customer Service experience.
