About the Role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for analyzing complex financial records and reports and oversee accounting operations from inputting, reconciling and processing invoices, expense reimbursements, credit cards and bank transactions to preparing financial statements and reports. The candidate should have a drive and desire to learn while supporting the successful growth of the Organization. The position will also involve managing and working with finance volunteers.

Your Responsibilities

• Complete month-end, quarter end and year-end financial statements and other reporting items accurately and timely
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Manage monthly reconciliation schedules, such as, but not limited to fixed asset and accrued liabilities ledgers
• Perform various analysis on specific General Ledger accounts, budget to actual reports, or reforecast to actual reports.
• Assist in gathering and compile the information for the annual and quarterly budget and reforecasts, respectively
• Compile data and schedules required for audits and tax filings

Who we are looking for

• College/University degree in Finance/Accounting, discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in Finance Management related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers.
• Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
