About the role

The Americas Sales Strategy, Operations & Enablement (SSOE) team is building the future of sales: a fully autonomous sales organization powered by AI. We operate with a startup mentality, build mechanisms that scale, and innovate solutions on behalf of our customers.

We are seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to join the Field Productivity and Readiness (FPR) team to support the development and readiness of sellers in the US Central & Southeast Areas. This role will be responsible for the initial onboarding of new hires as well as the always-boarding of tenured sellers, ensuring that customer facing teams have knowledge of the resources necessary to effectively engage with their customers.

Key job responsibilities
· Drive execution of all onboarding and always-boarding initiatives and programs in US Central & Southeast.
· Maintain calendar of targeted training & Area events for the year
· Establish reporting, compliance and operational cadence
· Review and manage existing mechanisms and determine opportunities to improve the learning experience. Assess whether the content is relevant and if the best technology is being employed.
· Possess excellent writing and presentation skills. Focus on data-driven content and delivery.
· Work with adjacent AWS functional teams to build alignment around field enablement priorities and to share best practices

Basic Qualifications


  • 8+ years of Sales and Sales Enablement experience in large organizations, with increasing influence and responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and managing competency models and learning paths for Sales roles.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology and AWS core services.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Sales Methodology training

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
