Bring your passion for people and fragrance to life at dsm-firmenich! We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner to join our Perfumery & Beauty North America team (P&B NAM). As the Manager/Senior Manager HR, P&B NAM, you’ll be the driving force behind our people strategy, partnering with senior leaders to shape culture, develop talent, and influence key decisions. You’ll be responsible for fully supporting key client groups within P&B across a range of strategic and tactical HR areas, including Organizational Development, Talent Management, Compensation and Employee Relations. The position reports to Director Regional HR P&B NAM.

Key responsibilities:

- Elevate business partnering: Go beyond surface-level asks to uncover real business needs. You’ll align HR strategies with commercial objectives, blending global frameworks and guidelines with local expertise. You will serve as the go-to partner for several key client groups in P&B, providing both employees and management teams with end-to-end support.
- Ideate and implement. You will traverse strategic HR thinking in areas such as organizational strategy and design, workforce planning, talent acquisition and development, total rewards, performance management, etc. You don’t just brainstorm solutions, you execute them, ensuring ideas deliver impact on the ground. You stick the landing.
- Spark engagement, shape culture: Drive initiatives that foster a positive and high-performance culture. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work with leaders to create an environment where people love to stay and grow.
- Stay ahead on compliance: Maintain an in‐depth knowledge of North America legal requirements related to day‐to‐day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll proactively manage risk and ensure we’re always playing by the rules.
- Deploy the HR toolkit: Actively apply your expertise across HR disciplines, including compensation practices, org design, employee relations, DEI, and employment law, using your knowledge to solve challenges and drive business success.
This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 2-3 days per week in office and the balance of the work week in a home office.
The position will be filled at a level commensurate with the experience and skill level of the successful candidate.
