Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems across a variety of projects. This role will serve as a technical lead on medium to large projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, regulatory compliance, and successful project execution. The position also offers the opportunity to contribute to project management responsibilities while supporting team development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for commercial and institutional projects
• Serve as the electrical discipline lead on medium to large-scale projects
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
• Support project execution, including scope, schedule, and deliverable management
• Contribute to proposals, technical documentation, and client presentations
• Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior engineering staff
• Support project management responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (EIT may be considered depending on experience)
• 9+ years of experience in the AEC industry
• Experience supporting healthcare and/or higher education projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards, codes, and QA/QC practices
• Proficiency with electrical engineering and design software
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines
• Strong communication, technical writing, and leadership skills
