Sr. Solutions Architect - Hydrocarbon Supply Chain

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Solutions, you will be responsible for the deployment and support of Par Pacific’s order to cash processes. This role will be responsible for owning SAP IS OIL and ETRM functionality, partnering with the business to understand their requirements, facilitate design decisions, and system configuration.

 

As part of your specific responsibilities, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for architecting and designing solutions to meet business requirements through leading solution design sessions with the Commercial and Finance organizations.
  • Define functional requirements for application development, own the solution design, and partner with development resources to create and maintain RICEF objects.
  • Manage production support and troubleshoot issues working with Par Pacific’s external support partners.
  • Define and review test plans and outcomes to validate solution meets design and business requirements.

 

 

The Opportunity 

  • The role will focus on providing design and support of Par Pacific’s ETRM environment.

 

The Requirements 

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the Sr. Solution Architect opportunity, you will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
  • Seven years hands on experience in functional solution design and delivery within Hydrocarbon Supply Chain (SAP SD/MM/IS Oil and Allegro)
  • Functional and technical knowledge related to Downstream and Midstream commercial operations (Trading, Pricing, Scheduling, Exchange, Supply, Transportation Movements, Actualization)
  • Certifications in SAP Activate methodology and Agile Project Management
