Job Title: Automotive Technician 
Location: Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram – Oak Lawn, IL
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour

• 6-Month Increase: $17.50/hour
• 12-Month Increase: $18.00/hour

Wage increases are based on tenure and performance milestones. Additional training and certification can lead to further advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine services beyond oil changes (brake pad replacement, belt/hose replacement, tire services, fluid flushes)
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Replace components such as batteries, alternators, starters, filters, and bulbs
• Document services performed using dealership software
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Participate in Stellantis/Mopar training programs to continue advancing your skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (minimum 3 years)
• At least 2 years of experience in an automotive repair or maintenance setting
• Working knowledge of automotive systems: brakes, suspension, engine, electrical
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and scan equipment
• Strong work ethic and desire to grow technically
• ASE certification or enrollment in Stellantis/Mopar CAP training is a plus
