Position Overview
This position is responsible for plan and schedule maintenance work in the most cost-effective manner, minimizing equipment downtime and adhering to all Novelis policies and state, federal, and local governmental regulations.

Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule work in accordance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Working with the Maintenance and Engineering Manager and area engineers to develop and maintain effective preventive maintenance (PM) programs for all equipment in area of accountability.
- Maintain and review equipment performance history to identify opportunities for improved reliability or cost improvement.
- Provide job planning and scheduling services for area of accountability, including, but not limited to:
- Complete description of work to be performed.
- Detailed bill of materials for job.
- Work methods.
- Special equipment needed.
- Blueprints and/or other special information needed.
- Working with the area staff, help develop and distribute weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate work between production and maintenance.
- Maintain and update maintenance equipment records, including parts lists, storeroom set-ups, MLS files, etc.
- Encourage active involvement of maintainers in planned proactive maintenance activities.
- Process in-house repairable items in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Management of backlog.
- Create and use standard jobs.
- Implement the Reliability Roadmap objectives in your assigned area.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 5 or more years of maintenance planning or related experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability in planning, organizing, and time management.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Must demonstrate effective team membership skills.
- Proven technical competence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Location Profile
The finishing mill in Lincolnshire established in 1966 cold rolls aluminum to a desired gauge anneals to temper levels and slits the rolled sheet to size. The facility which employees around 100 people produces mill finish coil for the building and construction and transportation industries. Lincolnshire is committed to the local community through its ongoing volunteer initiatives with a number of local organizations
