Shift: 1st Shift (Mon - Fri)

Location: Bridgewater, NJ - 755 US Highway 202

Join our Distribution team in Bridgewater, NJ, ensuring customers get products quickly, reliably, and safely.

Our Global Chemicals business offers outstanding growth opportunities. It was formed through multiple acquisitions and offers a wide range of analytical reagents and discovery chemicals to Thermo Fisher’s core research markets globally.

A day in the Life:

• Successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely, safe, and productive manner
• Perform powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist
• Report malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and use lockout/Tagout SOPs
• Direct, stage, and place all items in or outside the building using accurate material handling tools
• Pick, prepare, package, document, label, and ship all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
• Previous warehouse experience, including RF Scanning, Fork Lift operation, and potential use of a respirator preferred
• Experience in a chemical environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Comfort working with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including detail orientation and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required
