It varies per project how often and/or you have to be on location to realise the project and you work on it! </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>How you do this? In the position of Senior Logistics Engineer, you work in an international environment. As a person, you are independent and the leader who knows how to communicate and cooperate at all levels to deliver the project in the right way. You are able to drive customer implementations using data analysis, process design, application configuration combined with automation. You have a hands on mentality, you work in a structured manner and can actively lead stakeholders, and you are willing and able to travel (approximately 10-20% of the time). </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>You lead and deliver as part of a project the business requirements as agreed with the customer. You initiate and facilitate workshops with customers, operations and IT to define these objectives and processes. You also design and evaluate the warehouse processes and determine and quantify the impact on the overall business.  You also present the results in a professional and understandable way. For existing business, you are able to assess these processes, design and help implement optimizations. You get this done by: </span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>collecting data from internal and external sources; </span></span></li> <li><span><span>analyzing (customer) data sets; </span></span></li> <li><span><span>designing innovative and appropriate (mechanized) concepts in logistics and deploying them in operations and configuring the required setup in the warehouse management system; </span></span></li> <li><span><span>implementing developed concepts in a warehouse calculation model.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><span>Your team stands out within DSV due to its international character and the complexity and diversity of its many projects.
