Data Center Logistics II

Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating deliveries and resolving basic shipping or receiving issues, keeping records/logs of all materials.

Responsibilities
Documentation & System Updates

• Informs recipients that goods ordered have been delivered; coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination and obtains sign-off for receipt

Shipping & Receiving

• Maintains records of materials received and shipped

• Receives all goods delivered to the company either directly or following acceptance by security

• Enters all goods received and ensures order requirements are fulfilled

• Inspects received goods

Problem Solving

• Proactively works and communicates with customers to ensure on-time deliveries; may assist with resolving shipping and receiving issues

Inventory Management

• Assists in maintaining appropriate consumable stock levels (e.g. cable connectors, ordering materials at specified minimums)

Equipment

• Assists with management of stored and/or abandoned equipment

Data Center Support

• Assists with removal/disposal of all packing material from the Data center

Qualifications

• Proven years of experience

• High School Diploma
