InnoVets Boston is seeking a multi-talented Cyber Security Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction for Goldstar Family Members, Military Service Members and Military Veterans who are seeking to acquire skills and credentials that will prepare them for career opportunities in technology. The Information Technology Instructor will provide technical training competencies around IT platforms such as hardware, software, networking, security, virtualization, & enterprise cloud platforms. This individual will be responsible for developing course material and curriculum to conduct 3 months of in person classes and then conduct 3 months of remote classes.

NOTE: This is a 6 Month Contract Position 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and develop highly interactive IT training to prepare veterans for entry level to mid-level careers within the Cyber Security field. 
• Deliver live in person & virtual training for all Cyber Defense & Offensive Security techniques for all students
• Provide daily instruction as it relates to Cyber Defense, & Offensive Security.
• Provide daily instruction as it relates to Security Operations/Threat Hunting & Incident Response
• Teach cutting edge techniques around Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing & Blue / Purple / Red Team Concepts
• Develop a curriculum to establish foundational knowledge in multi-disciplinary IT & Cyber security topics,   such as Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity planning. 
• To develop training material/videos targeting successful completion of relevant Comp TIA certifications.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 5 years of industry and / or teaching experience in Cybersecurity/Networking/IT Operations/Cloud.  3 years of cyber security experience with emphasis on SIEM/IDS/IPS
• 3 years' experience in Datacenter & IT Operations across various functions
• 3 + years of experience performing Penetration Tests, Ethical Hacking, and Vulnerability assessments
• Strong background /familiarity with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis
• Strong background with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Python, Rub, C#, Kali Linux & PowerShell
• Knowledge around Strategic Attack Simulations to Analyze the intricate attack surface of clients     
• CompTIA Security + or equivalent technical training certification required.
• General knowledge of networking protocols and cybersecurity concepts.
• A solid understanding of contemporary social engineering concepts.
• Experience with online training platforms such as UDEMY, Coursera, Codeacademy, Codility or Hacker Rank
