About the role

ROLE SUMMARY

Develops national and retailer programs and activations that support our company goals of being More Than A Car Company and helping our retailers become More Than A Car Dealer in their local community, a component of Subaru's brand strategy. Responsible for leading relationships with national non-profit/charity partners and being the Love Promise program lead for assigned pillars, providing strategic and messaging direction across all marketing channels and functions. Position requires both Brand Management and Partnership Marketing Manager expertise.

  CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages national programs and partners related to assigned Subaru Love Promise pillars. This includes being the main point of contact between the partner organizations and Subaru of America (SOA) and building partnership relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Leads program development, defines retailer cost structure, and partners with Legal to draft and negotiate contracts with partners.
  • Leads program campaign planning, defines activation logistics, and briefs executive leadership and retailer field teams at company-wide meetings (such as National Training Conference [NTC], National Business Conference [NBC], Regional Organizational Meetings, all-Field calls, etc.).
  • Develops success measures, tracks impact data, prepares national impact statements, and updates pillar messaging.
  • Leads across internal Marketing teams to ensure that strategic elements are carried out in Love Promise programs and campaigns by determining strategy and disseminating relevant information to stakeholders to promote activations in paid and owned channels. This includes, but is not limited to, partnering with SOA Corporate Communication/Public Relations team, Advertising team, Media team, Corporate Social Responsibility team, Relationship Management team, Creative Services, and other relevant channel owners.
  • Partners with Creative Agency of Record to oversee Love Promise creative concepting and execution of national and retailer marketing assets.
  • Maintains responsibility for leading post-activation/campaign recaps to inform future initiatives, optimize programs, and define best practices.
  • Develops and manages relationships with organizations that align with Subaru’s brand. These partners are national in scope. Leverages marketing strategy on which partners to pursue. Performs prospecting and outreach actions to potential partners. Makes recommendations to SOA executives for new strategic partnerships.
  • The Love Promise Community Commitment Manager responsible for Share the Love area of focus will also be responsible for the following: Develops annual contracts with national charity partners. Creates contract deliverables that will help Subaru on its path to becoming More than a Car Company and More than a Retailer. Serves as liaison for internal SOA Advertising Production team and non-profit. Guides non-profits on awareness and activation ideas. Shares best practices. Plans meetings with non-profits around the campaign. Plans check presentation ceremonies with non-profit executives and SOA executives.
 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partners with SOA Field and SOA Training on Love Promise opportunities and provides guidance and direction.
  • Partners with internal SOA Advertising Production team on content capture opportunities that will help Subaru tell the story of our Love Promise.
  • Partners with SOA retailers and their staff members leading the Love Promise effort by cultivating relationships and serving as main point of contact between retailers and SOA.
  • Manages budget for assigned programs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience required.
