Role Description / Areas of responsibility:
As a member of the Investment Banking Division’s Consumer & Retail group, you will be working with managing directors, executive directors, associates, and analysts on servicing and executing client transactions.

The Vice President will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and leading a coverage effort across selected Specialty Finance sub-sectors
  • Execution of capital raising transactions – leading the discussions with internal committees, equity and debt salesforces, and potential investors
  • Execution of M&A transactions – responsible for business and valuation analysis, financial modelling, investor outreach and coordination of negotiations between parties
  • Preparing new business presentations for clients
  • Development, training, and mentoring of new associates and analysts

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Outstanding academic qualifications; strong GPA
  • Prior investment banking experience is preferred, bulge bracket program training a plus
  • Big 4 experience, especially in audit or transaction services groups, a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Series 79 and 63, or willingness to sit for the exams required

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
