Quality Assurance Specialist (Contract)

Description

The role of the Quality Assurance Specialist is to provide clinical support to doctors participating in BASS valuebased

care (VBC) programs through data entry, chart reconciliation, patient outreach, and medical assisting.

Job Responsibilities

• Data entry

• Annual chart chase

• Patient outreach to close outstanding quality gaps

• Update patient problem lists

• Schedule annual wellness visits

• Chart reconciliation/chart prep

• Provide MA support to BASS PCPs, as needed

• Provide patients with general practice information

• Liaison between VBC patients and PCP practices

Expectations

• Work setup: In-person, M-F
• Seasonal Employment (October – March)

Requirements

 Qualifications

• MA certification preferred
• Prior experience with Epic EHR
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel)
• Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable in interacting with the elderly
• Ability to meet daily quotas
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a team

Compensation will be based on experience 

Pay Scale/Ranges: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees)

Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The pay scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
