The Job:   

As a Senior Manager, Global Lean Manufacturing Learning, you’ll be part of our Operational Excellence team working as a virtual employee.    You’ll get to:    

  • Lead the coordination of the training and development of the Manufacturing Excellence team, which will include the use of a skills matrix and a curriculum of training modules.
  • Lead the coordination and development of manufacturing leadership training, i.e., manufacturing leadership boot camp, that will include the schedule, modules, and trainers.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing leaders (i.e., plant managers, manufacturing directors, and functional managers) to identify training needs and co-develop subsequent training courses.
  • Partner with the Digital Transformation and Connected Factory teams to identify ongoing training needs and support the co-development of any related training courses
  • Create flexible learning interventions to meet the workforce's diverse needs using learning principles and techniques.
  • Develop and implement a performance management system that monitors the success (i.e., rating) of ongoing manufacturing training programs and takes action to adjust where necessary.
  • Ensure quality of product and deliverable is aligned with set standards to include policies and tools; document new best practices and lessons learned.
  • Identify and leverage high-impact best practices, including benchmarks inside and outside the company.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  •  7+ years of Continuous Improvement Learning experience
  • Previous experience developing and deploying manufacturing and lean training programs
  • Prior operational consulting experience preferred
  • Deep experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Minimum Black Belt level certification
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, global and domestic, travel % may vary based on business needs
