Technical Program Manager

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Enterprise Technology team in coordinating projects for multiple areas, including, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success and Support. Our TPMs are responsible to manage the full lifecycle of projects and programs — from project kick-off and planning to execution and closure. You’ll foster open collaboration by working with cross-functional project team members to help drive design, improve processes and tools. You will be working with both highly technical and non-technical disciplines to ensure that project inputs and requirements are transformed into impactful results. You’ll identify, manage, and mitigate risks, and create repeatable project management processes, providing the leverage to scale our business.
The Enterprise Technology team supports insights with data and the technical systems that give our teams leverage to accomplish their goals. We work cross-functionally with Asana’s business teams to understand their objectives and ensure they have the data and technical support they need to reach our audience.
What you’ll achieve
- In this role you will be responsible for programs in the Revenue portfolio. This means you will develop deep understanding of the Revenue strategies, objectives, key initiatives driving success for the business and collaborate to get work efficiently done with teams
- Ensure that success of the overall portfolio by partnering to drive execution, communication and change management across various initiatives
- Improve the cohesiveness between Business Technology pillars and also our stakeholders, by evolving our methodologies, execution model, communications and information tracking process
- Organize the overall program team and establish clear roles and responsibilities at the beginning of each project; hold the program/project team accountable for the deliverables.
- Manage the committed programs effectively by proactively detecting misalignment and risk; gain consensus on appropriate actions to mitigate negative impact and maximize velocity..
About you
- 7+ years in senior project/program management roles with proven experience in leading complex projects for Revenue, Sales or Customer Success business functions
- You can balance a program workload and staffing according to project/program and organizational priorities and goals
- You have a solid understanding of the SaaS business model and specifically how a Revenue org functions. Understanding of full lead lifecycle: top of funnel => handoff to Sales => Sales lifecycle
- You have experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce.com, peripheral apps that integrate to it and how these supports business processes
- You have deep experience in driving projects in an agile/scrum, waterfall or hybrid environment.
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of both the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and non-technology project lifecycle, including identification of business problems, development of business cases and project plans, and project management and closeout
- You effectively interact with audiences at all levels to facilitate and influence decision-making and problem-solving across projects, programs, and teams.
- Adaptable self-starter skilled at creating structure in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, serving as a liaison between business and technical teams, driving effective, timely solutions

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $194,000 - $246,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
