The Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog for the HPD application. The Senior Product Owner work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, andwork is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience in IT Business Analysis, including artifacts development
• Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
• Previous Product Owner and/or Product Management Experience
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Product Owner and or Product Manager Certification
• SAFe Certification
• Experience with a requirement management system (preferably Azure Dev Ops)
• Extensive experience writing requirements and engaging multiple business stakeholders to gather needs and drive priority over an extensive backlog of work.
• Familiarity with Humana Pharmacy Solutions (people, processes and members)
• Experience in preparing post production validation plans and operational readiness plans for released functionality impacting specific user groups

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
