Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Directly manage a team of 15 Business Development Executives.
- Collaborate with regional Sales Directors, VPs, Marketing, Enablement, and Operations to understand the needs of the region and how the BDE team supports those needs.
- Coaching, mentoring, and motivating a high producing sales team.
- Assist in the recruiting, staffing, and training to grow and maintain a sales team.
- Inspire, lead, and coach a dynamic and fast paced sales team.
- Coach and provide feedback to the sales team in the areas of sales/personal development, direction, and focus.
- Conduct weekly forecast review and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative.
- Manage productivity, funnel of opportunities, and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards.
- Collaborate with other Business Development Managers on department projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience mentoring or leading a team of BDRs/SDRs in a heavy outbound position.
- Experience using prospecting tools such as Linkedin Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Zoominfo, Salesloft, or Outreach.
- Extensive experience conducting and teaching cold calling, personalized written outreach, and creative prospecting tactics.
- Demonstrated success in forecasting, territory planning, and account mapping.
