About the job
We are seeking a Sr. Director of Data Science & Analytics within our Sales Operations organization. You will lead our data-driven approach to running, planning, optimizing and transforming our go-to-market. This leader will oversee a team of data scientists, analysts, and data engineers delivering critical insights that drive business performance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence.
This is a highly visible leadership role with direct impact on the company’s GTM strategy and execution. You have a demonstrated track record of excellence in data science and analytics innovation, large-scale complex data analysis, process-driven data management approaches, program & project management, communication, team leadership, mentorship and cross-functional teamwork. This position will report to the VP of Sales Operations and work closely with peer leaders across Sales Operations and other business functions.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Mentor, lead & coach a team of managers, data scientists, analysts, and engineers delivering mission critical data-driven insights and decision-making
- Drive development and automation to provide a comprehensive view of business health; including pipeline, forecast, sales productivity and other GTM metrics and insights
- Own the accuracy and integrity of all reporting and insights
- Partner closely with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to understand their pain points and create solutions to improve day to day operations.
- Align with sales leaders on performance metrics & KPIs
- Drive innovation in dashboarding, visualization and self-service analytics and insights capabilities for sales and GTM teams.
- Develop predictive models and advanced analytics to improve funnel performance, sales forecasting and revenue growth strategies
- Support ad hoc and strategic analytics needs, including market assessments, customer buying behavior insights, propensity to buy analysis, whitespace identification, etc.
- Partner with GTM leadership to shape data-driven strategies that improve sales productivity, customer engagement and business outcomes
- Serve as a thought leader in the company’s data science and analytics efforts working cross-functionally to share best practices and drive innovation
- Implement and enforce best practices for data integrity, accessibility and security
- Drive efficiencies in data infrastructure and processes, ensuring scalability to support current and long-term business needs.

Required:
- 15+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics or business intelligence with a strong background in GTM or product analytics
- Proven leadership experience managing, coaching and developing teams of data scientists, analysts and engineers in the tech industry
- Deep experience as a technical people manager, managing managers, organizational design principles and excellent career development skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in statistical models, predictive analytics and data visualization
- Strong proficiency in data analysis languages and tools <
