Security
Job Summary:  The Security Guard is there to keep staff and guest safe. This is an hourly role with varying hours from 10am – 4am depending on season or day of the week.  We highly value creating a company that represents diversity across many lines, including race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender identity, sex, and country of origin, national origin or ancestry, citizenship status, age, physical or mental disability unrelated to ability, sexual orientation, military status or unfavorable discharge from military service. 
Dress Code: All black or a black shirt and dark jeans. Hats and shirts should be plain black or black with one of our logos.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Checks IDs at the door. 
• Keep staff and guests safe.  
• Monitoring and defusing situations.  
• Bring up to manager as soon as possible when situation arises.  
• Aware of signs of over intoxication.  
• Aware of capacity and does capacity counts. 
• Dressed appropriately for outdoor weather, able to work outdoors for extended periods of time. 
• Door attendant is expected to be outside anytime temperature is 40 degrees or higher.
• Knowledgeable of steps of service for greeting guest with a pleasant and inviting demeanor. 
• Communicates with managers.  

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. 
• Authoritative verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. 
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
