Rate: $17.00/HR

Available Schedule: Sat - Sun: 8AM - 4PM

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conduct internal, and external foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons,  inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and logs for site; writes and/or types reports and/or enters information in a computer using standard grammar, inspects security control and logistic logs and takes action as required. 
• Monitors drivers, provides guidance as needed and client employees with logistic needs.
• Provides an atmosphere in which all drivers and client employees know that the client cares about their needs.
• Present a good image to the client, employees, and drivers.
• Monitors entrances / exits and acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry.
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disturbance to leave the property.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others.
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy and logistic requirements and in accord with client standards. 
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Security experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Must have swing shift availability with the ability to provide additional coverage as needed.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Intermediate computer / technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, logs, via handheld devices and computers, camera monitoring, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Client, and Office Management.
• Must be able to conduct internal / external foot patrol throughout shift - during various weather conditions - to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked entrances / exits, mechanical issues, and unauthorized persons.
• Must be comfortable with access control and turning away public / visitors that are not permitted on site.
• Must have a Colorado Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Must have a personal vehicle.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to achieve site / organizational goals. 
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation / force if required.
